Joshua T. Smith is a Miami FL native is a scholar, professor, and business consultant. Founder and CEO of Joshua T. Smith Consulting and the visioneer of Our Paz, a platform for strategy, social impact, and cultural insight. Through his consulting firm, the Urban Research Lab, and the Paz Foundation, Joshua advances Black heritage, youth leadership, and systemic equity. Joshua holds degrees in Religion (Wiley University), Theological Studies (Southern Methodist University), and Heritage Studies (Arkansas State University).
He has served as a professor of Religion and History at several institutions including LeMoyne-Owen College, Wiley University, T.D. Jakes Divinity School, and he sits on multiple boards dedicated to education, equity, and cultural preservation. A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he is recognized as a trusted advisor and thought partner to organizations seeking impact rooted in legacy and innovation.
