Open to youth ages 7–16 of all skill levels, the event will crown the KingMaker with a scholarship prize, blending strategy, community, and opportunity in an unforgettable competition. Our Paz Foundation is proud to announce the official launch of the KingMaker's Chess Club, our newest youth initiative dedicated to cultivating strategy, confidence, and critical thinking through the timeless game of chess. To celebrate, we are thrilled to share that the first annual KingMaker Tournament will take place in Spring 2026—a community event designed to inspire the next generation of thinkers and leaders.

We are currently finalizing the venue, but the moves are already in motion for an unforgettable competition. Children ages 7–16, from beginners to seasoned players, will be invited to step up to the board and test their skills in an atmosphere of fun, focus, and friendly rivalry. No matter the skill level, every participant will walk away sharper, braver, and more prepared to tackle life’s challenges one move at a time.

The stakes are high and the prize is mighty: the tournament champion will be crowned the KingMaker and awarded a scholarship to support their academic journey.
